Vitebsk students to study at Oxford College

VITEBSK, 30 May (BelTA) – Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov and Magna Carta College, Oxford, signed an agreement on bilateral cooperation, BelTA learnt from the Vitebsk university. The Vitebsk university and the Oxford College will cooperate under two concurrent education programs: Bachelor’s and Master’s. The course comprises distance education and face-to-face lectures by English professors at the Vitebsk University. Thus, Vitebsk students will get an opportunity to receive education in one of the well-known universities of Great Britain. The Vitebsk university has become Belarus’ second educational establishment to sign an agreement on cooperation with the Oxford College. The Baranovichi State University has already had the agreement of the kind. Magna Carta is a private business school based in Oxford. The college offers distance education on the programs of Wales University which makes it into the list of top 15 UK universities. The college has a special status of the UK Border Agency that gives this educational establishment the right to receive foreign students under a special student visa (Tier 4).
