This year nearly 80% of the visitors were real investors, owners of big and medium-sized business,” he noted. Speaking about multimillionaires at the forum, Dmitry Klevzhits said that the investment forum was visited by businessmen from the UAE, Qatar, Japan, Korea, China. “Today China, UAE and the Persian Gulf can invest, set up new companies, come onto a new economic level,” he said. This time the forum was visited by nearly 500 representatives of international organizations and companies. According to Dmitry Klevzhits, investors are lured by Belarus’ huge investment potential. The country takes pride in its well-developed logistics, its location at the border with the European Union, he said. As for investors’ risk in Belarus, Dmitry Klevzhits noted: “Over the last decade Belarus has been among top three countries that have been modernizing its investment potential and doing business conditions.” Dmitry Klevzhits also pointed to the importance of the investment forum for Belarusians.
