MINSK, 4 February (BelTA) – The Third Belarusian-German Energy Forum in 2014 will take place in Minsk. Preparations for the event were discussed among other matters at the meeting between Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Germany Andrei Giro and Chairman of the Board of the German Energy Agency (DENA) Stephan Kohler in Berlin, representatives of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry told BelTA.

The negotiations took place in the DENA HQ. The talks touched upon opportunities for Belarusian-German institutional interaction in energy matters in 2014, including within the framework of the bilateral working group for trade and investments. In particular, the sides agreed that DENA will participate in the Third Belarusian-German Energy Forum during the 19th Belarusian Energy and Ecology Congress. A seminar on biogas matters within the framework of the international specialized expo Belagro 2014 will be held as well.
