Belarus now 41st on world's strongest armies list
Belarus is ranked 41st on the world's strongest armies list, BelTA learned from the Global Firepower analytics company website.
The Belarusian army was ranked 49th in 2017.
In this year's list of the world's strongest armies Belarus is ranked right behind Romania (40th) and ahead of Peru (42nd). The U.S. army is deemed the world's strongest. It is followed by Russia (2nd) and China (3rd).
Global Firepower's World's Military Strength Ranking is compiled using 55 parameters and features 136 nations.
