16.06.2023

The government's approval ratings depend on the quality of healthcare services, Belarusian Deputy Prime Minister Igor Petrishenko said at a ceremony to honor the country's best healthcare workers in the Palace of the Republic in Minsk on 15 June, BelTA has learned.

“It is always exciting on this summer day on the eve of an important professional holiday, the Day of Medical Worker, to congratulate and honor the best representatives of our healthcare system with the deserved awards. I think that it is not only your merit, it is also a merit of your teams, because somewhere you ensure your professional fulfillment, and somewhere you lead the teams, directing them to quality and, most importantly, effective work. The government's approval ratings largely depend on the performance of the healthcare system,” Igor Petrishenko said.

The deputy prime minister wished those present at the ceremony strong health. “If the doctor is healthy, the patients will be healthy. You need to take care of yourselves, your teams, so that they could provide quality and efficient help to our people. Our people are very patient and go for help at the very last moment, but we want people to come to the doctors in time. I would like to wish you to concentrate even more and concentrate your teams. Most importantly, young people who are coming to replace the generation that is reaching deserved retirement. Pass all your knowledge and skills to the younger generation, so that we could be always proud of our healthcare system,” Igor Petrishenko said.
