The tenth edition of the Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia will be held in Ufa, Russia on 26-28 June, Chairman of the Council of the Republic Natalya Kochanova told the media, BelTA has learned. 

"This year, 2023, the tenth edition of the Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia will be held in Ufa on 26-28 June. We have agreed the dates with the Russian side. We have decided that the forum will run ten panel discussions," Natalya Kochanova said. 

Natalya Kochanova presided over a meeting of the organizing committee for the tenth Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia on 17 January. 

"The Forum of the Regions in Grodno was highly praised by Valentina Matviyenko, our colleagues. Agreements and contracts were signed for RUB65 billion, or Br2.5 billion. The next edition must be well organized. We must work out everything to make sure there are no failures during its work," the speaker emphasized. 

The organizing committee for the tenth Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia is expected to convene for a meeting in Ufa in March, Natalya Kochanova added. 

The ninth installment of the Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia was held in Grodno on 30 June - 1 July 2022. It was themed around "The role of interregional cooperation in advancing the integration in the Union State”.
