Belarus has started harvesting cereal crops, BelTA learned from the Agriculture and Food Ministry.

Belarusian farmers have started harvesting cereal crops, already threshing some 4,000 tonnes of buckwheat and over 4,000 tonnes of millet.

All regions in Belarus have completed the sowing of winter rapeseed for grain and flax pulling. The flax straw harvest reached about 52,000 tonnes.

Cereal and legume straws were harvested from 63% of the area. Primary tillage was conducted on 15% of the cleared area.

Belarusian agricultural workers are harvesting potatoes. Yields are about 369 centners per hectare. Some 1,081,000 tonnes of corn for silage have been cropped so far.
