Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko congratulated Daniel Noboa on winning the presidential election in the Republic of Ecuador, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

"Minsk is interested in promoting the political dialogue with Quito on the basis of understanding and mutual respect, more active cooperation in trade, economy, science, technology and culture," the message reads.

Aleksandr Lukashenko expressed hope that the election of Daniel Noboa as head of state will give a new impetus to cooperation between the two countries and joint efforts to ensure a more effective realization of the potential of Belarusian-Ecuadorian cooperation.

The Belarusian president wished the president-elect of Ecuador good health and success in his responsible post.
