Lukashenko sends condolences to Uganda president over school attack in country's west

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko sent condolences to Uganda President Yoweri Museveni over the terrorist attack on a school in the west of the country, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The head of state stressed that it was with great sadness and pain that Belarus learned the news about the terrorist attack on a school in Uganda on 17 June 2023.

"The ruthless murder of innocent children is a crime for which there will never be any forgiveness. I am sure that the organizers of this terrible act will not escape the punishment they deserve," Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed. "In this difficult and sad hour, I send words of support to you and all citizens of your country, deep condolences to the families and friends of the victims, wishes for a speedy recovery to the wounded."
