Belarus suspends participation in European Cultural Convention
Belarus has suspended its participation in the European Cultural Convention. The Council of Ministers' corresponding resolution No. 822 of 28 November 2023 was published on the national legal internet portal, BelTA has learned.
“The country suspends the European Cultural Convention adopted by the Council of Europe in Paris on 19 December 1954,” the document reads.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been instructed to send a notice of suspension of the said convention.
The document comes into force from the date of its adoption.
