Lukashenko, Putin to meet on 23 July

The Belarusian president will travel to Russia on a working visit, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

This weekend, Aleksandr Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin will hold talks that were scheduled earlier. The Belarusian head of state announced this meeting as he talked to Belarusian and foreign journalists: "We have agreed to meet in the near future."

The agenda of the negotiations has been set. There are many issues to be discussed. Traditionally, this is a wide range of the most important and basic topics for Belarus-Russia bilateral relations: security, international agenda, economic cooperation, the Union State programs, joint effort to counter the illegitimate pressure and much more.
